no offense but isnt saying "systems dni" a little bit ableist...? being a system is a legitimate medical disorder/condition, thats kinda like saying "people with depression dni"
i understand that a lot of people fake it or call themself a system when theyre just something else entirely and are misinformed, but again, its a legitimate medical condition that exists and systems very much exist, its proven by doctors and psychologists and the disorders that cause one to be a system exist in the dsm-5 and similar medical literature. some people are actually diagnosed with or professionally recognized to have did/osdd/other similar disorders. they occur when a person experiences trauma, so the brain "splits" to protect itself.
this is not meant to be rude or an attack on you, im just a bit confused as to why you would say this. (for the record im not a system, but someone very dear to me is.)

hi yes thank you for this, to be very sincere rn i only have systems dni due to past problems and interactions with them, i was easily troubled on how to handle and understand how they communicate even when ive checked out online websites and googled on how to not offend them whenever i talk, so yeah to keep it short i simply dont wanna interact with systems or people with did because i dont wanna accidentally offend or hurt them with my humor, way of talking, etc. not only that but i struggle to keep up with the alters since each and every one of them is like a new person im talking to, theyll forget everything about me, i forget things i said to a specific alter and might say it instead to a different one, and more (these are past interactions with an old sys friend i used to interact with). even if i can simply treat them as a friend or a person i enjoy talking to, its hard for me to keep up with everything and not accidentally triggering them or messing something up. i do understand on why it sounds like i dont wanna interact w them because theyre weird or anything and yeah i couldve worded it better so i apologize for that. and also to add on this, im not an ableist since im someone who has multiple friends and exes whom have mental illnesses (confirmed adhd, dyslexia, and NPD aka narcissistic personality disorder) and even a gf whos a diagnosed autistic and has many communication problems, so no im not an ableist and im willing to support or help the people who has problems, id just like to not interact with the people i struggle to help, even if i try to do so. sorry if this is long im trying to explain it as much as possible and sorry again for the big misunderstanding and ill see if i can word “systems dni” better to not make it sound like i hate them, every disgnosed person who is struggling deserves someone that they can reach out to and be accepted, even systems and people with personality disorders, but sadly i am not the best person to reach out to and be comfortable around for systems. thank you once more for reaching out tho i appreciate this, i hope you and your friend wasnt offended and saw it as a misunderstanding instead and lastly have a good day!
